- Tempura flour50 g

- Frying oilas needed

How to make
- 1. Cut off the tip of the stem of okras and peel off the calyx. Sprinkle salt, roll it on a cutting board to remove the soft hairs, and wash under the running water.
- 2. Pat dry with a paper towel and poke 3 places in each okra.
- 3. In a bowl, add tempura flour and water, and mix with a whisk until it's no longer powdery.
- 4. Add Step 2 and dip it well.
- 5. Pour about 1-inch depth of frying oil into a pot, heat to 170°C (338°F), and add Step 4. Deep-fry for about 3 minutes until the batter gets crispy, then drain off the oil.
- 6. Arrange it on a plate, place salt and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
Poking okra will prevent it from bursting when deep-fried.
