Seafood Okonomiyaki with Chewy Spicy Pollack/Cod Roe (Mentaiko) Cheese Cream Sauce - Recipe Video

- Cabbage80 g
- Salad oil2 tsp
- Mentaiko Cheese Cream
- Whipping cream (Heavy cream)100 ml
- Spicy pollack roe40 g
- Shredded pizza cheeze40 g
- Salted butter20 g
- Parsleyas needed
How to make
- Prepare. Cut off the core of cabbage. Remove the thin skin from spicy pollack/cod roe (mentaiko) and break the meat. Remove back cotton from the shrimps.
- 1. Coarsely chop cabbage.
- 2. Cut the squid into 0.4 inch cubes.
- 3. Mix the dough ingredients in a bowl, then add Step 1, Step 2, and shrimps.
- 4. Place cooking oil in a heated pan over medium heat, add Step 3, cook for about 5 minutes, flive over the chicken when it browns nicely.
- 5. Continue to cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then remove from the heat when it's cooked through.
- 6. Put mentaiko cheese cream ingredients into a large heat-resistant bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and heat in a 600W microwave for about 1 minute to mix.
- 7. Place Step 5 on a plate, drizzle Step 6 on top, sprinkle with parsley, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
You can substitute frozen squid for fresh squid. Please use whatever you like for okonomiyaki powder. You can also make it with salted pollack/cod roe (tarako) instead of mentaiko.
