- Silk tofu350 g
- (A)Soy sauce2 tbsp
- (A)Sake2 tbsp
- (A)Sugar1 tsp
- (A)Grated ginger1/2 tsp
- (A)Grated garlic1/2 tsp
- Starch3 tbsp
- Frying oilas needed
- Garnish
- Lemonas needed
- Parsleyas needed
How to make
- 1. Cut silk tofu into bite-sized pieces. Freeze in the freezer for about 2 hours, then place in refrigerator to thaw.
- 2. Place Step 1 on top of a paper towel and gently press it with your hands to remove the liquid.
- 3. Mix (A) in a bowl, add Step 2, and marinate for about 15 minutes.
- 4. Lightly squeeze out the liquid and coat it with starch.
- 5. Pour 1-inch depth of frying oil into a pot, heat to 180℃ (360°F), and add Step 3. Deep-fry for about 3 minutes until the surface turns golden brown, then drain the oil.
- 6. Arrange it on a plate, serve with garnish, and it's ready.
Tips for cooking
Please adjust the seasoning to your liking. The finished texture will change, but you can substitute firm tofu for silk tofu.
