- Green shiso leaves2 sheets
- Meat drippings
- Japanese leek1/2
- Pork belly100 g
- Hot water200 ml
- Noodle soup base (Mentsuyu)100 ml
How to make
- Prepare. Cut off the stem of green shiso leaves.
- 1. Boil water in a pot, boil udon noodles as indicated on the package, cool it under running water, and drain.
- 2. Slice Japanese leek thinly and diagonally.
- 3. Thinly slice green shiso leaves.
- 4. Cut pork belly into 1-inch pieces.
- 5. Boil water in a pot, add noodle soup base (mentsuyu), Step 2, and Step 4, and heat over medium heat. Remove any scum, simmer until pork belly is cooked through, then remove from heat.
- 6. Arrange Step 1 on a plate, Step 5 on a bowl, top Step 3 on udon noodles, and it's ready to serve.
