- Chicken drumstick6
- Boiled egg2
- Broccoli50 g
- Ginger10 g
- (A)Water200 ml
- (A)Ponzu sauce80 ml
- (A)Sake2 tbsp
- (A)Sugar2 tbsp
How to make
- 1. Separate the broccoli into small clusters and cut the stem diagonally.
- 2. Thinly slice the ginger with the skin on.
- 3. Make a slit on chicken wings along the bone in two places.
- 4. Heat (A) in a pot over high heat, bring to a boil, add Step 3, mix up to down sometimes, and simmer for 5 minutes. Add Step 2 and stems from Step 1, cover with a lid, and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes.
- 5. Add boiled eggs and remaining Step 1, cook over medium heat for about 2 minutes, then remove from the heat.
- 6. Serve on a plate to complete the dish.
Tips for cooking
If you leave the ginger with the skin on, the flavor will come out stronger. Wash the skin well before use. The taste changes depend on the acidity and saltiness of the ponzu sauce, so please adjust the saltiness to your taste.
