- Japanese green bell pepper (Piman)3
- (A)Curry powder1 tsp
- (A)Soy sauce1 tsp
- (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)1 tsp
- Salt and pepper mixa pinch
- Salad oil1 tsp
How to make
- 1. Cut bell pepper in half, remove the seeds, and cut into strips.
- 2. Cut fish cake (chikuwa) in half and cut into strips.
- 3. Put cooking oil into a pan heated over medium heat and stir-fry Step 1, 2, then add salt and pepper mix and continue to stir-fry.
- 4. When bell pepper has softened, add ingredient (A) and stir-fry over medium heat, then remove from heat when all the flavors are absorbed. Serve it on a plate and it's ready.
Tips for cooking
You can cut chikuwa as you like, but cutting it in the same shape as the bell peppers makes it easier to stir-fry and eat. If you combine bell peppers with different colors, the dish looks more beautiful, so please try it.
